In the game of Concentration, your objective is to find all the matching pairs of animal cards by flipping them over two at a time. How many turns will it take you to clear the entire board?
On the screen above you'll see a grid of face-down cards. Tap any face-down card to flip it over and reveal the animal hiding underneath. Matched pairs are removed from the board, while non-matching pairs flip back face-down.
On your first turn, tap any card to reveal the animal on the front. Then tap a second card to try to find its match.
If the two cards show the same animal — it's a match! The pair will flash green and disappear from the board, and your matched-pairs count will go up by one.
If the two cards don't match, they'll both flip back face-down. Pay close attention to where each animal appeared, because that information is the key to winning!
Keep flipping pairs of cards, using what you remember about previously revealed cards to guide your choices. The game is over — and you win — when every pair has been matched and cleared from the board.
Your final score shows how many turns it took you, as well as the total number of individual card-flips. The fewer, the better!
You can choose between two grid sizes: the "Easier" grid is 6×6 and contains 36 cards (18 pairs), while the "Harder" grid is 6×8 and contains 48 cards (24 pairs).
Concentration — also known as Memory — has been played since at least the late 1950s, and has appeared in countless languages and card decks around the world ever since.
